You can pay to fly in the Canadian one. £1k or so iirc. I’d love to do it. That said family members flew in them during the war. They weren’t enamoured of the experience.

Good ride out with @Selmer50mark and @Boothman to the Cat and Fiddle and then the Chippy run to Ashbourne!! Chippy was shut but got a cracking sausage roll from the Deli over the road so no harm done!! Had fun watching people turn up and trying to park their bikes!!!:D

The chippy on the square is great. Much prefer it to Matlock Bath

Unsurprisingly I went to Oliver's Mount. Nice route, when Sat Nav didn't try to send me greenlaning, but some of the speedlimits are unbelievable.

Nice day though and now paying the price with streaming nose and sore eyes.

    Seaways for a late breakfast.

Blue skies and warm tarmac - perfect conditions today. Had a good run out over the back of Rivington, up to Clitheroe, stopped off at Southport to watch some of the air show and home. No where near Penrith mind @Selmer50mark :D:rolleyes::oops:

Mine was a morning hooning over the Suffolk mountain range. It’s a hill a bit south of Newmarket. Then up through the Thetford forest round a bit of Norfuk and a big circle home. Bloody hot even going it.

3 hours riding round the Wolds, a nice early start so the temperature was in the Goldilocks zone :D

Changed my normal route home and avoided Hemswell, too many idiots there for the Car Boot on a Sunday who think that pulling out onto a NSL 50 yards in front of you and then dawdling at 20mph to the roundabout is acceptable behaviour.

Also spent the last 3 days exploring the delights of Suffolk, Norfolk and the North Norfolk coast, Cromer; Sheringham, Hunstanton and then Inland on some of country roads most road surfaces are good but lots of average speed cameras but a very hot and enjoyable 3 days away I did unusually, see a couple of Repsols and wonder if one was you Bladey?

Sorry. That's a pic of my old bike. It's a matt black one now. I just like it :).
You're right about the average speed cameras. That part of the coast is great isn't it apart from them. We've got hut on the beach at Hunstanton, just a bit further than the lighthouse. Not "allowed" to stay overnight but I've sometimes had sleeping bag when I've needed to paint it and stayed there. Decent fish and chips too. Next time you're about there let me know and maybe visit.

Bladey it is a lovely area, I was impressed with the coast road but pretty slow moving and very few places to overtake, I did like Holt.
When did you change the Repsol?

Had the 2018 for 18 months now. I like the feel of it a lot more than the 2012 I had and trust the abs now. But I can't polish it .

Brancaster is nice too, if you go along a bit further you get to the Staithe. The White Horse does great food there. I was brought up on the Solent coast and miss the sea but jobs and housing........I now get to look at F35's instead of sailing boats.

Yes, it was cracking this morning - we were out between 9 & 1. Bike had just about cooled down enough to put away before the rain came.

Spent most of yesterday riding round home county. The fields looking as though it's the end of August rather than the end of July, I didn't have an end destination just enjoyed the ride and making the most of the beautiful weather.

Been expanding my routes farther south and trying some different roads. Didn't work out well today that, what with narrow roads and slow traffic even before 8am, but hey ho such is life.

Also managed to activate my cloak of invisibility. Not sure how I did it but it took a couple of drivers by surprise when it suddenly deactivated and they saw me alongside them
