Does anyone here know what's happened to their old Blades, the ones you've PX'd for newer models? I've still got some of the old insurance details from a few of my old bikes and I know one of mine which was written off has been bought and restored and ridden is going strong as the new owner wrote and asked me for the history of it.. (How that happens is a mystery to me). I always look at the reg plates of models I see that I've owned wondering if it was mine once.
    Just a thought.....

You get an emotional attachment. But in reality it is just a machine, so who cares. But I get it

If one doesn’t get at least a small emotional attachment then it’s the wrong bike.

Before buying my blade I was able to obtain name and address of first owner who gave me lots of information about the bike that I wouldn't of otherwise known we correspond occasionally and he likes knowing how his old bike is going
One of my r1s was unfortunately stolen within a few weeks of me selling it.
