Hi there!! Just joined the forums, I have been looking around for a few days as I am going to try to trade in my 2003 CBR600F and upgrade to a 2009 HRC 'Blade, pretty bog standard apart from tail tidy, Frame sliders and heated grips!!! Been riding the 600 for about 4 years, and put 20,000 miles on the clock in that time. Thanks for the service manual, I love that stuff, as I am a Level 2 motorcycle mechanic.
Hi there and welcome, another HRC on the forum all I can say is you have great taste and the 09 looks fantastic
Welcome to the forum, fella. Nice looking the HRC............might be looking to trade mine up to a newer model next year.
Thanks for the welcome!! To be fair, they all look great to me!!! This one is for £7K with less than 10K on the clocks... Figure I can't go wrong with that!! Wanted to keep my 600 Forever, but I rather keep a 'Blade forever!!!
Wotcha mate. You're going from a brilliant bike to a brilliant bike so no brainer there. My mate did the self same move but in the end couldn't part with his 600F, so he kept it. ...Really should have told his missus though. Welcome in. Ken
Hello 'n' welcome mate I've got the same CV as you apart form I'm not a level 2 mechanic but i had a 03 600f and got myself a 59 HRC RRA Blade! You'll love it!!.. I got mine Oct 11 so not had must time on her but spring just round the corner so won't be long! My Mrs book us for the Isle of Mann in July she's takin the car with the kids and all our gear and I'm takin the Blade!! Well lucky anyhoo good luck with gettin you Blade you won't look back cheers Trev
I wish I could keep mine!! I really do!! Would have made a stunter out of her so the missus has her first big bike to grow into after some more experience... Alas, it is not meant to be, and I must let her go... I will be very sad to see her go, but I am sure that seeing a 'Blade in her place will make me smile like a kid in a candy shop!!!
Work the magic mate. Stress to her what a safe and easy bike to ride the 600 is and it would be an investment for her future to keep it.
Hi and welcome ! It's good to know that we got a motorcycle mechanic in the forum ! You are able to fix and upgrade the blades...?
Only a Level 2, so more like maintenance and minor upgrades... Have done valve clearance checks and shim under bucket measuring on a Hornet engine 3 weeks in a row in the course, going from 4 hours first time to 2 hours third time... Checked and cleaned and greased head race bearings once... So, Intermediate but good understanding of motorcycles and troubleshooting... Also done up to Level 3 California Superbike School, so I know enough to know that most problems are due to the nut attached to the handlebars!!! So far my understanding is that taking the fairings off the 08-11 'Blade is the most difficult!!! Crash damage I know nought about apart from "Maybe we should get a new one o' those?!?!", and my electronics knowledge goes as far as - don't touch the dash and the cross at the same time!!! I do not have a 'Blade yet, but she will be mine. Oh Yes, she WILL be mine!!! Muuuuaaahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaa
