Having seen the latest OEM filter prices, I decided to give MIW a try. I think they are made in poland. Received them today (for my RR8 and yam XT660). Must say very impressed with the expetrnal built quality & packaging and the feel very solid. Hope they give a good performance
I’ve used hi flo on everything for years, no vehicle manufacturers make their own filters, huge amounts of parts are sourced from outside suppliers, an Idiot sales rep where I used to work would insist on Volvo parts for his company car when the engine in it was the same as Ford which was a Peugeot Citroen diesel.
China is used ny many companies to manucature their OEM products and the quality is excellent. Of course there are the fake items at knock off prices you see on ebay! My last honda filter was made in france by purflux (or something like that!). Products like air, cabine, spark plugs and lambda sensors on my toyota are made by denso
