Hi, I have a fireblade 2012 model with knocking from the crank. I've stripped it down and seen the mess of the bearings, the crank needs machine work. The shells bearings were almost completely gone, Id like to take the crank to my local machine shop but just before i do , I just wanted to double check measurements. Standard size is 1.436, readings on my crank on the outer rods is 1.431 and 1.429, am I correct in assuming this is a tad much to be skimmed further or are there shells available to take up this amount? this measurements is before any machine works.
