Hey guys, been a long time…… just bought a 893cc 94 Blade fighter (total hound that looks like it’s been used as a boat anchor , modified a Ducati 1198 subframe to take the seat unit, VFR750 rear arm (not yet fitted) and 954 Blade forks (waiting for their imminent arrival) and here’s where I need the advice. Apparently 1000RR forks fit but not sure up until which year? Also do the brake discs fit as the 954 uses 330mm discs. Anyone have any advice? @Yorkshire Tyke any ideas? Next question, is @Lozzy still about? Still got those one piece RST leathers……still can’t get into them!

Yeah, part ex’d the RR9 for a Street Triple R which I swapped for a 675 Daytona then bought a new MT10 which I kept for 4 years. Loved it, but still say the 1000RR is still up there as one of the best bikes I’ve owned, second only to the MT-10 with the 675 Tona pulling up 3rd place.
I’ve had them on once or twice but these days I look like toothpaste that’s been squeezed back into the tube!
Hey you lot, still not sorted the fighter. All bits now powder coated and bolts zinc’d ready for reassembly. However picked up another 3 since, 98 TL1000S needing recommissioning, 2001 Blade 929 needing and engine swap (almost complete) and a 94 Urban Tiger. Can’t get those Blades out of my blood!
