We don’t see anything much about them on here. They make loads of bikes I’d like but there’s always a but. A bit like French cars.

KTM current situation. 2 months ago was the promise to sort out the camshaft/head problem.
    was it pure lip service?
Would you still buy one or keep an existing one?
    Will MT motorcycles take over?

Parts others own rights to the LC8C so I think this engine will survive as long as cam oil feed is fixable. ( new head made to a tolerance) Any thoughts.

Crock of shit. Avoid like the plague. Reminiscent of the VF750 debacle of over 40 years ago. But at least Honda did the right thing and repaired the bikes. KTM just lied.

They don't do anything for me, which is lucky as the always seem to tall for me. Also they do that twat trick of wanting you to pay hundreds of pounds to unlock features already on your bike.

Bet they wish they had agreed to Ewan and Charlie's request rather than saying no, and them going to BMW and basically being responsible for huge numbers of GS sales.

They deserved to fail for this alone.

KTM is one brand I've never considered mainly because they never did a supersport/superbike and the nakeds just don't do it for me!

I did look at a used RC8 a few years back but the styling is awful, particularly the front end, looks like a droid from Star Wars

So for me they won't be missed..... but i am slightly disappointed that they won't continue to develop the Moto Gp bike. I know they've said they're committed to its racing programne and continuing in the series, but the riders will just basically be circulating. Be sad to lose another manufacturer from the grid

It’s a shame what Stefan Pierer has done. Growing up ktm were making good enduro bikes, now it just a marketing company. I do love the concept of a high performance v twin with motocross bars. Sort of reminds me of what we did to gsxr’s and fzr’s in the 90’s
