CBR1000RR Right side crankcase are 2008-2011 and 2012-2016 the same?

Hi All

could do with a new right hand side crankcase/clutch cover.

anyone know if the part for a 2008-2011 bike is the same fitment as 2012-2016?

they have different part number but look really similar.

Looking at Fowlers I’d say not

 

I know this is not an answer to your question, but a gasket for the clutch cover fits all SC59's and all SC77's

 

if the one I’m watching stays cheap might just buy it and see. Was wondering if it’s a different part number as it has extra bits to fit a factory cover etc but wonder if the actual case shape and dimensions are the same.

 

The clutch actuator rod etc are also different part numbers, so suspect the casting is different on the inside

 

Cool might be best to leave it then and wait for a 2008-2011 one to pop up on eBay.
