Evening all, new here, just picked up my 2006 model yesterday, still have the grin etched onto my face from picking it up.
Just wanted to ask if it was possible to change the units from KPH to MPH? I did read that this is only possible to do on the US models but thought I’d chance my arm on here and ask the folk who know!
    Thanks,
    Dan

Thanks for the response, yeah i'd had a look on YouTube and watched this exact video but it doesn't work. This is the fix for US models. The EU models for some reason dont have the same option to change. Thanks though.

My UK 2007's is just a toggle of the switches on reset. Think it's turn ignition on, press and hold reset, then set time and then mph flashes and you just move it to kph. Same as in video. Hope it works for you

It's in the handbook if you have one , hold both buttons for 2 seconds then push select till KPH flashes then press reset to MPH

Thanks for the responses guys, ive tried all the above methods but i can only toggle between the Hours and minutes on the clock it never moves to the KPH to allow me to change.
I asked ChatGPT and this was my response undortunately:
"If holding SELECT + RESET only lets you change the clock, then your dash is likely one of the continental European models that doesn't support unit switching natively. That behavior is common with models programmed for markets like Germany, France, Italy, etc., where only kph is legally required and thus hard-coded in the dash firmware."

Just thought i'd post this on here incase anyone else encountered a similar issue.

    Thanks anyway guys.

Sounds like that might be it - only other thing, on my old 600rr the plastic insert under the rubber reset button got dislodged and wouldn't work. Got the rubber button out, put the small white plastic bit back and all worked. If both your buttons are working not that but again worth a mention
