Hi guys, i'm writing a report at the moment for my website, but in the meantime, here are some photo's from the weekend, which turned out to be extremely successful. If me and the bike are healthy when the round comes round, i have decided i will be racing British Stock 1000 there later in the year, as i was ver comfortable on the bike there.

Great first race weekend on the Blade. Qualified 1st, then 3rd, 2nd, and 1st in races with 1:36.775 PB. Happy would be an understatement!

Well done chap, looks like you and the blade are going to have a great season.

Have you tested the blade in the wet yet?

Well done Bongo, paintwork is looking good. As we are going to be seeing you on TV regularly you best get the 1000rr.co.uk visor sticker for the post race interviews.

    Brilliant!
How on earth is it possible to qualify 1st and win on your first race weekend though?...
    Raw talent?
    Controlled aggression?
    Top drawer suspension?
    A big turbo?

Thanks fellas! I'm still smiling lol. As for how, i dunno haha, surprised myself bigtime, but at the same time, i had a hard year last year on the R6 and rode the wheels off it, not getting the laptimes or results i felt like i deserved for how hard i felt i was riding. It was absolute proof to myself that you suit some bikes more than others. I am a Honda man, no question. i won 2 championships on a Honda in 2010, jumped on a Yam and felt uncomfortable and slow, then jumped on this and felt at home again. I felt the vital connections between the brake lever and front wheel, and the throttle and rear wheel, which i hadn't felt in over a year!

I'm at Mallory next week, Friday 6th April if anyone else is?
