He said he would see it through, but then it's not as if he can not affor to buy his way out.. thing is if true it would make him a quiter not how I think he would end it...
He has probably got a get out clause in his contract.Something like if the bike is not competitive or a championship contender in so many seasons then he is free to walk.On a good bike he could beat anyone.A Honda would be great.
It is so sad to see Rossi suffer like this.... how a simple bike change can see you go from 1st/2nd all the way to 10th and 13th etc.... sad.
Marco also did this last year saying rossi was leaving ducati for honda and that turned out to be true
But Hayden seems to be ok on it? I understand they are running the same bikes now an Rossi is supposed to be a 'better' rider?...............
it didnt see Stoner go 10th or 12th and I am not a Stoner fan especially but he rode the socks off that bike when he was on it, I think Rossi is just not aggressive enough for that bike, you need to throw it about a bit. So here is the question, where would Rossi go if he did quit??
no sorry i was being sarcastic. Marco tweeted last year that rossi was leaving ducati and going to honda which clearly didnt happen. and now he is at it again so its just as likely to be a lie aswell
stoner did have quite a few bad weekends on the ducati finishing well down the field. was it motegi where he ran off the track 3 times in the same race. i see 3 options for rossi. switch gresini if the ride becomes available. Or switch to F1 or WRC
I'm not a fan of Stoner the bloke but obviously cannot fault him at all as a rider. But his style is much more suited to a bike that's trying to murder you all the time than Rossi's. If the Ducati refuses to let you ride it smoothly and your style is one of smoothness, how can you ever find your rhythm. Not that I would ever suppose to analyse Rossi's problem, but when Stoner transferred to a sweet handling bike, he took off like a scalded cat, and, let's be honest, if it wasn't for the cramp, he'd have done it again on Sunday.
Yup the old Cramp routine never fails. Its a bit like the Basil Fawlty bad leg.The little T**D was getting beat and give up.
Probably nothing to do with the honda always drinking a little too much fuel and the bike running a little lean for the last few laps. that happened quite a lot with the 800's
