It was in all black, with a black frame, black (ie dull black) engine covers etc..... just really bland, next to it was a 2011 Repsol blade with the silver frame etc, it just stood out so much more... do you think this black frame will be on all 2012 bikes to come, including any new Repsol scheme, which by the way.... when is that likely ?

Oh i did like the forks though and the clock looks nice but the analogue rev counter on the Repsol just looked '' right '' as well. I would have so see one lit up as seeing a needle move through the rev range just appears correct to me :D

Repsol blades every two years so 2009 and 2011 then the next one in 2013.

Yep, or pink like the R1!

Personally I prefer the black on black over the black on silver frame..... Each to their own I guess.

Frame colour is irrelevant if you want a new 12 ; )
Everything else rocks, forks, colour, shock, clocks, wheels.

Well I'm bloody loving mine, keeps on getting better and better the more the miles are clocked up. The suspension is great the engine/fueling is smooooth and strong and the handling/change of direction is like a scalpel, precise.

Really nice, all in black. Never been taken with the gold wheels colour scheme.

I like any colour frame if it's used in the right bike colour scheme, I think the Blue one on my Suzuki is stunning and looks rather nice on my mates track bike to!!!

The silver frame is what sold my bike to me .

When i bought my 600 5 years ago i thought the black frame looked the nuts but i prefer silver now . especially on black . classy as took IMO

The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same things.

The silver frame on my RVF looks great so like Benn said it all depends on the bike.
