Hi, Ok so been lurking in the shadows for a lil while now. Even met this motley crew at NEC. I have also made some contributions to the site via ColinBR as we carried out all the mods to both his blade and the now ill-fated blackbird. Sumthing about me being able to make a good cuppa tea or sumthing. I must confess tho I don’t own a blade but hopefully I can still make a few worthwhile contributions. My bike is in the background of Colin’s garage nite pics. Anyway let the flaming begin for joining a blade forum without a blade.
I've got a bent one and they still make me welcome!! Glad you've finally come forth fella... Great pic by the way. The fella next to Colin is one handsome dude! (not you vino)
Lol welcome to the forum mate. I'm sure the guys won't bite too deep about not having a blade Stick some pics up of the bike, I'm sure more than few guys on here have had 1 at some point. Oh and thanks again for helping me out on Sunday after being wiped out on the blackbird.
Welcome To the forum shiney. The more the merrier and if someone wants to join us but does not have a blade then we must be doing something right Hope you enjoy the forum
Welcome to the forum, we welcome you with open arms If I am honest it cant get any worse on here we already have Jimbo with his R1 and half a blade and Ben with his tricked up GSXR . Enjoy its not the bike its the people IMO
Hey Guys, Thanks for the welcome I can only find one pic of the bike the day a picked it up not sure where I have stored any others I have. (Its a Suzuki SV650s k6 its not the quickest but still fun on the twisty's) I was getting bored reading threads without being able to respond so joined up.
A mate of mine used to race sv650's in the sound of thunder, they are great bikes, reliable, quick and sound great looks tidy too
Oi......... It's tricked up GSXR's lol Welcome aboard, we've heard lots about you. I had this for a while
Yeah they are pretty nippy well till you get anywhere close to triple figures then kinda runs outa puff, really notice that when overtaking. the bike is in pretty nice condition, spent as much money as a care to on it, think its a new bike next once funds allow. Av added all the usual stuff carbon can co zorst and tail tidy were already fitted before ma hands got it, dbubble screen, hugger, new rear shock and front springs (oh what a difference they made!) cant think of much else off top of head. Beside the lack of go at higher speeds the bike is pretty good, never had her break down on me (touch wood dinny wanna be sitting at side of road waitin on tow truck again took ages for colins bike to get uplifted.) Really need to find or get some better pics as she sits the now.
