Being an all Honda forum, I just thought I'd share this day being 12 years since the legend Joey Dunlop passed away doing what he did best Feel free to add.
I was at Silverstone and they announced it over the Tannoy. I remember now looking at all the faces of the people around me. About two thirds of them screwed their faces up in that "who thef uck are they talking about" way. The remainder of them looked like they'd lost a friend. I hope mine did too.
I didnt really get into bikes untill after his death so i didnt have the chance to see him ride. but doing research into his history it made me realise just how popular and loved he was. Nobody will ever beat his records and to be at the top of his field at 50 years of age will never be seen again around the tt
