Seen a few around Bala heading for the hills ,Different colours sometimes Blue White /or Orange /The Green one's seem to come out at night.Sometimes i try to keep up but they are gone in a Flash sometimes with a blue light flashing close to .Quite Scary!
I was traveling along the A40 late one foggy night Nr Witny Oxfordshire when I saw some weird sh*t. I pulled over in to have a better look. A triangular shape with lights at each point hovering about 300 to 400m above a field. After 2 min this thing took of at some fooking silly speed and blinked out of view in less than 5 secs. The odd thing was there was no noise at all, dead quiet. Aliens, I don't think so. Secrete military plain, yep probably. Just like the stealth bomber was. Looked a bit like this.
Before I tell you, I'd like to know why you're asking. Just in case mrs kpone's trying to get me sectioned again.
Everyone believes in UFOs as it just means something that hasn't been identified. Are you actually asking who believes in aliens? I do of course, as we're obviously not the only life form in the universe. I've also seen a couple of UFOs, but I don't think they were aliens.
I saw this in late 1972 or early 1973 along with many other witness's. This thing was huge and made no sound, it was hovering 2-300 yards above ground went forward about 500 yards then shot up at a 45 degree angle and out of sight in 2 seconds. There was no vapour trail or sound. The picture you have posted was taken by a Belgium from the ground, the Belgium air force could not get near this thing.
Agreed , we can not be the only planet with life on in the universe. We have only ventured within our own galaxy so the same could well be happening on the opposite side of the universe
The famous Drake equation which claimed to explain the average number of species with whom we could possibly communicate throughout the universe has been fashionably quoted, although more recently, largely derided, since the early sixties. N = R* fp ne fe fi fc L R* = 10/year (10 stars formed per year, on the average over the life of the galaxy) fp = 0.5 (half of all stars formed will have planets) ne = 2 (stars with planets will have 2 planets capable of developing life) fl = 1 (100% of these planets will develop life) fi = 0.01 (1% of which will be intelligent life) fc = 0.01 (1% of which will be able to communicate) L = 10,000 years (which will last 10,000 years) Drake's values give N = 10 × 0.5 × 2 × 1 × 0.01 × 0.01 × 10,000 = 10. See.. That's how you work it out, simple.
Have I seen one no, have I seen things in the sky yes. I believe there is got to be life forms out there some where but don't really follow this UFO malarky
Take my numberplate off Yes you guessed then I would be an un-identified flying object and if I slow just a little you will be able to make out its a bike? Well this is a bike forum, what answers did you expect?
Okay, I'll own up to being a bit of an amateur astronomer and have been since I was a kid and in all those years I've only ever seen one thing I couldn't explain. Sitting in a deck chair on a flat roof one night with a couple of mates I was pointing out the various stars, constellations, planets some of the more visible nebulae etc. when what was clearly a satellite passed overhead. Now the strange thing about watching the transition of a satellite from the ground is that the nearer it is to either horizon the slower it appears to be moving. As it approaches its highest point, its zenith, it seems to accelerate and as it moves past, it seems to decelerate. This optical effect is due to its relative positioning and not due to any change in its velocity. It's not physically possible for any orbiting body to change its velocity or vector sufficiently to be noticeable from the ground. So there, that's my one and only UFO in probably 40 years of sky watching. All this I bored my mates with probably as much as I'm boring you guys with, but stick with me because that was the moment when the object changed its direction by as close to ninety degrees as was possible to judge. It didn't slow down at all, it just changed direction and continued off to the horizon. Now I'm enough of an aeroplane anorak to know that this was not a high altitude fly past. There were no strobe lights. The light was purely reflective from the long set sun. I honestly cannot explain what I saw. I'm not saying there is no explanation, but I can't justify it based on my understanding of the laws of motion.
Some people say that there might parallel universes .....me for one hope there's not i hope to think anyone else is going through as pain as we are with this government
great link into political satire Deej, I like it. For a moment though I thought you were say as much pain as listening to my rambling.
there are too many billions of other galaxies for there not to be life on other planets. Any of you seen the film The Fourth Kind ?
Short answer is I'm not sure. Thought I saw one moving across the sky last summer, but it turned out to be the reflection from a satellite. Would be naive to believe we're the only inhabited planet.....but....aliens turning up just to mess with crops & dish out the odd anal probe? I don't buy it. I'd go with the military research side of things.
Yes I have but I prefered "The Mcpherson Tape", a low budget Blair Witch type movie that did manage to creep me out a bit when I watched it (there's a long walk in the dark to lock our gate). I'd like to think we're not alone. I'd like to think there's a place somewhere where Super Unleaded is 35p a gallon and FireBlade saddles aren't made of concrete and nails. I just don't get the emphasis on anal probes.
IMO, natural phenomena is generally a far more plausible explanation for most UFOs than military or any other man made stuff.
And when you scroll to the bottom of the page there's an ad to play Battlestar Galactica online. Is it any wonder I'm constantly confused!
