Found these pics of a custom made mount for a tomtom... is this someones bike on this forum? nice - is it not? Does the TomTom Ride Europe come with this particular bike mount? Anyone know...? Also where do you think i can get a metal plate like this, that i could bend into shape..?
Sam, that's my mount and my bike. The mount was made by using an aluminium plate that I bought from b&q for a fiver. It's original use was a push plate for a door. Just bend it to shape ising a vise, drill some holes and spray it black. Job done. That mount actually gave up this year so I'm on revision 2 and holds my garmin zumo instead of a tomtom.
The garmin makes the tomtom look like a toy. The mount shown is what was included in the original rider v1 box.
