Hey up mate, rear peg plates turned up today :) any tips on fitting them, see you went with removing the subframe technique, did you just strip the rear end then undo the frame .... Is it that simple, also do you use the OE bolts for the pegs to hold on the plates and then fit the supplied ones with the spacers to the plate :)

Looks like another night in the garage for me :)

It takes a little time to adjust, I don't like the OE ones now as i got used to the gilles on the R1 being a bit back and up from normal, everyone is different so the main thing is to get something you are comfy with, looking at these they are such good quality and look so much better than most of the other rearsets, I don't think I have made the wrong decision. I hope not anyway ! Bit of a bummer about the switch as I hoped it was plug and play, might contact honda and see if I can order the plug on its own but doubt they will do it :(
Time to get the snips out

mine does not have a connector :( just two inline splices so not happy :(

Have you tried all positions on the rearsets ? seems a shame as they look the dogs danglies

Try the magnetic lasso tool in elements Steve. It's a lot more sophisticated than the magic wand and you don't need too steady a hand with it.

I might do that Steve. My mate's got access to a Sintered Titanium 3D Printer that he's itching to exploit.

All the best to you and your family mate.

      Hi Steve

Did you get your replacement fitting kit yet?

Does the price of the stand include the first one or do you need to add the fitting kit to it.

My riding buddy has a 954, same as me and he teaches engineering so if they don't make a kit for a bike that old I might just crib some measurements off you and get him to fabricate something for me.

      Cheers

      Ken
