I keep looking at the KTM1290R or the Ducati streetfighter, I think one of them will be my next bike, looking for something that's fun on the street rather than the Ducati 1199 I presenty have which is just mental.
As a Superduke owner I can say completely unbiasedly that it's the most fun I've had at legalish road speeds in 20 odd years. I considered the Streetfighter but heard like the Blade I moved away from it needs winding up before it gets interesting.
This is a stonking road bike. Mine will do 20 mph in 6 th gear !! My R1 would be about to stall at that speed in 1st Gear !! Plenty fast enough (and then some ! ). What are they £11,000 ? I reckon they have to talk it down otherwise what is the point of the more expensive and more sophisticated bikes (Tin Foil Hat Time ! )
+1 for the fun naked road bikes. Love my MT, much more fun than the blade with "only" 120hp and under £9900 brand new. Got to be the KTM over the Ducati for outright "fun" I'd have thought?
