Hey CBR929RR came with a Acumen gear indicator that's never worked, it will only flash 1. Checked the wiring and it is connected but I don't know if it's connected to the right wires as I can't find instructions anywhere! Any ideas, hints, tips or know where I can find some instructions!!!
If its flashing 1 then it sounds like it is in learning mode. Whack it on a paddock stand put it in 1st, take it to about 2000rpm. If it then flashes 2 after a few seconds it is in learning mode so repeat until you have done all the gears. IIRC learning mode is enabled by a wire being put to ground. I may have one in the garage and if so I will still have the manual. Will try and check later.
I get it into learning mode by pressing little hole in the back for 6 seconds. It flashes "L" and I press same hole 6 times to indicate 6 years, it then goes to N for natural. I put it in 1st, 1 flashes, but that's it. It's running on a paddock stand and I've tried various revs and durations.
