for the ones using aftermarket clip ons on their 2008+ bikes, which brand are you using and are they the raised ones?
I have an adjustable set from my R6 that will fit, but aren't raised, so not quite sure it they'll hit the fairings when mounted and steering is at full lock..
also, what brand are you using? Harris, Gilles, Woodcraft??

Those look fantastic! May have to invest in a set.. Like the way the tube possition can be adjusted too.

There are some cheap £30 versions on ebay which look ok.. Not as nice as the real deal though

Is anyone using the Rizoma Lever Guards on aftermarket Clip ons?

I fancy a set for next year but there are various fitting kits for OEM Clip ons and one Universal kit?

Does then the universal kit fit any aftermarket clip ons?

    Apex bar risers

    Hi Skippy,
I've had a pair of Apex fitted to my 2012 blade, raising the bars by 6-7 cm. no fouling and much more comfortable. image.jpg

@ nutty- they looked like they are also raised, are they?

@porcpen - 6-7cm is a bit to high for racing, although I bet they are comfy on the road?

I just stuck my aftermarket on to have a look, will be sticking the fairings on later to see how close they are to the fairings…. the lower the better for me ;)
I'm just not sure if it change the riding of the blade, everyones using raised clip ons for a reason ;)

My 1 inch raised equal to standard clip ons as the degree down is more extreme . Standard aftermarket clip ons on blade can cause trapped fingers I measured and they are only 1cm difference raised to non raised the lift on Harris ones is under a inch perfect for racing or road IMO

I've got some renthal bars that I want to use as spares, so would I be able to uses these with the harris clip ons?? they're 22mm tubes, pretty standard tubes I think. I would have ordered gilles, but the renthal bars are useless then and I'd need to buy some extra bars, and then it just gets stupidly expensive if I have to spend 150€ for clip ons and then another 30 per bar, when I've got 3 bars here :(…. will have a look on fleabay and see if I can find anything decent that's not chinky chino

The Harris bars have a cut out filed into them so the bolt locks them in position you could file this into your renthal bars easily I'll take better pic to show you tommrrow buddy

    Hang fire Skippy!

I fitted Gillies Riser Vario Bars to my MY12 Blade this year from new and they've been ACE for comfort.

They are adjustable for height & angle through a stepped angle system where the bars attach to the fork leg tubes.

They aint cheap at £330 GBP but are fully adjustable and may be just what U need.

Yup mate .. they are similar to the standard set up just a little lower is all . Don't catch my fingers on full lock .

If you wanna try some Gilles I have a set I could be persuaded to part with ;)
