first post on the forum and it has to be a problem! I have a 2005 with 16k on the clock. When warm I get a knocking from the bottom end of the engine. I've poked round the engine with a mechanics stethoscope and it sounds like it is located at the bottom frond of the engine above the oil cooler. Rise and falls with revs. Clutch in or out makes no difference. Tried adjusting the balance shaft and no joy! Bottom end knackered? Or anything else I should check?
