    Hi all
Quick query, a couple of months ago a very lovely young lady decided to turn right across my path, as it's a Sadiq Khan 20 zone i managed to be hit at only 10-15mph argh, however as the frame has suffered a couple of gravel rash scratches it has now been declared a cat B by third party assessor.
My question is has anyone had a decision like this reversed or am I just dreaming, I'd like to keep the bike and repair it but concerned about insurance when my policy lapses.
Any info is much appreciated, also if it's not possible how much would it be worth as a track bike?

I’d argue the toss. Same sort of thing happened to me 5 or 6 years ago. The 3rd party assessors as in the insurance brokers team said right off but talking to the actual insurance company they authorised a repair. Nothing to lose.

getting OEM parts for fairing, radiator and everything that is broken or scratched would set you back few thousand £££ (2~3k probably)
then it is paintwork fitting etc; so I would say ~5k cost to your insurers.
PS what's that thing falling out of the frame above the gear selector
I dropped my bike on my garage floor :mad:mad::() broken top cowl & screen plus scrathes to the fairing and some control levers: £3500:eek:

It's ok. Looks like the adapter for a Warrior type bike lift.

Still pushing to get it over turned, as I say only plastic broken and a foot rest so absolutely livid as I think it's my claims management company upping the cost to max their profit.
Argued with the offer they sent of £3300 and have heard nothing as yet.
