Quite surprised there is no 'How To' for this ... at least I cant find one!

    From reading up ...

    - Remove tank
    - Remove timing cover
    - Align to TDC (how do you know the timing isn't 360deg out? i.e. cam timing marks out 180deg? without popping the valve covers)
    - Remove CCT centre bolt and seal
    - Remove CCT and old gasket
    - Install new gasket and CCT
    - Remove locking pin and install centre bolt and seal

    Have I missed anything?

Worth me taking pictures for anyone?

It was ... hardest bit was getting fuel connector back on!

TBF I had a full tank of fuel in it!

Still didn't fix the issue properly :(

    Hi

Does it matter if it's at TDC? previous owner of mine has put carbon protectors (not bolt on ones) on the crank case and they look well stuck on and a bugger to get off (can't get to the timing cover with them on).

Did you replace the connector thingy (technical term :))/retainer for the quick connect fuel line like it says in the manual or isn't it necessary?

    Cheers
    Mike

It shouldn't do but it's best to be safe ... after all its timing you are messing with and the consequences aren't worth it!

As for fuel connector ... no, never bothered and tank has been off lots of times. Just be careful with the O ring :)

    Hi mate

Did you make a tool to wind the tensioner in before you removed it or did you just unbolt it?

    Cheers
    Mike
