To be honest mate your better off seeing if you can get a bottom end of an engine that has head damage. It's not quite as easy as just replacing the crank. You then need to think about the shells and also the bearings at each end of the crank. Then you've got the gaskets to replace and so on and so on! Soon adds up, and why I ended up just going for another engine and keeping the 1 I have for spares, or tuning up at a later date.
I think my engine builder is looking for bottom end. But if not then I need to look at other possible options. Where did you get your engine from mate?
Got my engine from a forum member on here. Yorkshiregooner also has engines available if needed. Also try Wedgie on here as he has just started up a new business breaking bikes for parts.

I've a tricked up engine for sale with Hrc cams, head gaskett, Hrc box etc etc . It's had head work and has hrc bell mouths
Can vouch for Wedgie as friend bought a R6 engine as a spare and ended up using it in Jerez this week testing when his one blew up. Used it it flat out for 3 days lol
Do you mind me asking how much for the rebuild and what is being done in the work? Toying with the idea myself for my track bike...
