    Hi All

Looking to get a pair for when i'm just popping out on the bike locally etc.

Anyone got any recommendations of good ones, ones to avoid?

    Cheers
    Mike

Yes they are hard to begin with, but just with leathers they give a little over time. They're heavy though.

Cool, what’s the sizing like? What are they like in warm weather? Read a few reviews that the fully lined ones can get a bit ‘sweaty’.

I have some Bull-it Covert jeans. Paid c.£150 for them a few years back.

These do get well sweaty in Summer. Held out well on my off last year and the rash on them looks like wear, as opposed to having an accident in them. The knee sliders are a pain in the arse as they keep moving from side to side unlike leathers, as they are fitted and tight as opposed to looking like a regular pair of jeans. Size wise they are correct. I bought a 34" and can wear them without a belt. I do use a belt thought for extra piece of mind (I'm weird like that). The leg length is long, but I think it's on purpose as it compensates for the rise when your legs are bent when riding. Bit of a pain to get on if you have trousers underneath, but it's less sweaty with undergarments on.

    Hope this helps.

The sizing was as it should be according to the label, although they do get warm because of the extra layer. I don't think they breath like leather, so my reason for buying them was that I can hop off the bike and not be in leathers.

Have you tried their Easyriders? Sound lkke a better bet for summer as they don't have the waterproof layer.

No, I've only tried the Paranoid ones. Bought them from their stand at one of the Peterborough shows. I rarely wear them, but it's nice to have a pair for the odd occasion that I want to ride somewhere where walking around with leathers isn't practical.
