    Hi all,

Bike is running fine but it has been 2 years since it was last set up on the dyno.

I was wondering if once set up they need re-doing now and again.

Not made any changes to system ie same PC and exhaust system etc which would obviously require a new set up.

I get everything else maintained/checked so wondered if it was something I should consider.

    Thanks in advance.

I think it can change slightly as obviously parts ware etc but only slightly so if there isn't anything obvious I would leave it

Thanks Martin, I just wondered if there is a period when it becomes not as good as it could be. Bike is running great atm so will leave it as you suggest.

I'm only taking a guess to be honest mate, if you were racing I would say maybe do once or twice a year as every pony counts plus it has a hard life. On the road unless you have added something or there is a problem I wouldn't worry.

You could always just go for a power run and see if its lost much, what's that 30 quid?

Agree with above, unless your bike is a track bike then i can see no point, indeed having the bike running just fine but still going for a Dyno would seem a waste of money and time..... it is after all a road bike that is running great.... if it ain't broke .... you know the rest.
