Engine mounting bolts that are roved for crash bungs

    Engine mounting bolts that are removed for crash bungs

    Has anyone got a pair of engine/frame mounting bolts that I can buy.

    The one's i'm after are the one's that get removed for the fitting of R & G crash bungs and the like.

    My bikes an RR6 for fitment, or if you should spot any for sale on ebay and the like i'd love a heads up.

    you can oredr from ds spares or your local honda dealer using the partnumbers listed on that site ;-)

    spacers you will have, as these go inbetween the engine and frame.... so nothing to do with RnG stuff....
    I think my fairings are coming with RnGs..... so if they do they arrive tuesday, ill have 2 bolts for you.... 1 i bought was the HRC engine mount, same bolt just lighter, i should have standard somewhere ill have a look over weekend, so dont order just yet..... though i just typed this andi have a 08.... so if someone confirms they fit we can sort something out

    Hey Vic_ster, seeing as you're doing a good deed......

    i have a set of brand new 08-11 R&G crash bung bolts. I ordered them because I panicked that my mechanic over-torqued the bolts on my old 08 blade. when I spoke to R&G tech dept they said max torque for the crash bung bolts was 49nm i think, whereas the 08 honda manual says 64 nm for the top engine mount bolts. The differnec being due to metal grades. They suggested changing the bolts if they had been over-torqued as they are designed to bend in a spill, and if over tightened they will snap.

    Who knows if all that is correct, but what I do know is i have a new set of R&G crash bung bolts for an 08 blade that I no longer own. If you end up with the tail tidy i'll just drop em in the box.
