    Hi all

As the title explains i am looking for an aftermarket fuel cap. Oberon looks great, lightech, harris, etc but what do you guys have on your road machines?
Any recommendations or images would be appreciated

    Many thanks

I have a Austin racing one. Looks really good and great quality. I've not got a pic on the bike but looks exactly the same as the one pictured. image.jpeg

How safe are these mate if you leave your bike unattended or there are ideal for racing only?

I used to sell those fuel caps, they are made by TWM, great quality but the Honda version used to leak for some reason.

I used to have a TWM on my Ducati 749s and it leaked too... not ideal. Constant smell of fumes as well (which is nice to a point). And really shit when it rains...

Am contemplating a Lightech one myself - everything I have ever bought from Lightech seems so well made, that I'd like to think their fuel caps will fit with no leaks.

Safe = someone might steal petrol or part of the kit. Bit extreme i know but you never know with the thieves out there

I sold my 899 panigale with a very expensive fuel cap and the first time the buyer parked it up some twat nicked the centre section !
    £180 fuel cap knackered.
I never let my bike out of my sight so I would be OK.

Thanks for the info guys. It is a risk to left it unattended but it looks good at the end.
Did you had to do any mods regarding the breather line to the tank or is a straight job?

Unbolt existing fuel cap, replace with new fuel cap. Nothing else to it.

Tempted by the Lightech ones, look a lot tidier than standard. They have some quick release locking ones to stop meddling kids.

That looks nice Dave. Did you had to touch the breather line for the fuel or it was a simple swap?
