New gaskets, and consider new studs and nuts whilst you are at it.

This may help, although if they are still in good condition, some say just leave them in.

Hi can someone tell me what i could put on the gaskets to hold them in place while i fit the headers ? and is there a certain way the gaskets go in the head as there seems to be a bit of a seam on one side , thanks for any advice.

Little smear of general purpose grease should help keep them in place if they wont sit by themselves.

Looking good. Will you post a pic when fairings back on so can see the whole bike? I’m undecided what to get yet but this is most likely.

I got an Austin Racing slipon on my 2017.

I still have the cat though.

Leave the cat cos the fkr will be too loud otherwise for the road - My Austin has the baffle in all the time and is at a reasonable noise level :)

My Austin Racing slipon was actually from my 2016 - I had an adapter and hanger made so it fits the 2017
