    Hey Guys,
    I own a 2010 CB1000R Non-ABS.
My motorcycle , idles at around 1000-1050 RPM when cold , and climbs steadily to about 1350 RPM as it warms up.
secondly, while riding the motorcycle it doesn’t drop below 2000 RPM and the bike keeps riding on without any inputs from the throttle.

I have checked the throttle cable, it’s within spec and adjusted as per the owners manual

My TPS sensor has been replaced previously, and in order to place it on to the throttle body prongs, i need to twist the throttle a little in order to line it up and fit it on the motorcycle , and when it’s all lined up the throttle closed voltage is around 1.2 volts (standard being about 0.5v)

my question here is do you need to twist the throttle in order to fit the TPS sensor or it should just go on and then tuned slightly to get the correct voltage.

    Pictures for reference

hey, I’m not sure i picked up the bike used, since have replaced all the fuses, checked the entire wiring harness, plugs, clutch switch etc.

I have been told that it could be the wrong TPS altogether and now I’m sourcing one from an old Honda Accord, as that’s the correct one, let’s hope that works and I’ll update the results here!

It didn’t look right on full adjustment with a high voltage. You could try lengthening the slots. But the right part is best.
How much is a new one.
    Have you tried @vic_ster51

cold idle should be 1500~1800 rpm
warm idle 1200~1300 on my 2008; I would expect it to be the same on the 2010
