Carfull with the cheap chinese copys on ebay. The couler matches are not great however for 30 bucks its worth a gamble I orderd a black 1 for my RR-A and its pretty good
Yeah it was of ebay. It was from Bike-z , on black the couler is a perfect match and i only paid 30 . the only thing it does not have is the Honda racing stickers and it doesnt have CBR printed in the pad.
Thanks mate, will get one for £30. The original Honda part does not have CBR printed on the pad, the only difference would be the small Honda racing sticker on both sides. Did you deg the foam pads with the seat cowl to prevent rubbing against the seat unit? Cheers Rich
No nonw of that. I had a sheet of black motocross backround so i cut some of that to protect the tail fairing.

None atall mate. It took a week to arrive and for the money I'm very happy with it. Only complaint would be the under side is not painted fully so you can see that it was originally White plastic. On the bike thou it looks perfect
No way.. Did you order from Bike-Z ? Really sorry it hasnt come after i said he was good. Mine came the following week. If iy was me i would open a dispute in paypal to get your money back and chances are the cowl will turn up later and you get it for nothing
Need to order a seat cowl for my new blade I'm picking up on saturday. So far got R&G fitted, going to order a Leo vince this week, having HEL braided lines fitted prior to collection but just for aesthetics I'd like to sort out the rear end. Emailed bike-z yesterday but he didn't seem to confident of a colour match even when I just asked for White and a black one? I was gonna order both for the price just to see what I like the look of (mines a 2010 black n White) Anybody other than dan had success with this chap? What else would I need to make it right or is it straight fit? Cheers
Just received my black seat cowl from bike-z today, not too impressed. For starters there was a chip in the paintwork on one of the corners. Looking at the paint finish, it is very poor, it has five or six high spots, also some crazing throughout. Colour match is also poor, looks OK from 6 feet away!! I've got a geniune Honda seat cowl, finish is night and day different from the chinese copy. Damodici, go for the black seat cowl, the white does not look right on the 2010 blck & white bike.
Thanks mate, looks like I won't risk bike z then, point is do I risk a different one from hong kong though. I'll have a ring round to see how much getting one painted will cost, I know it sounds bad but paying £180 for one from a dealer is ridiculous. Even Ducati don't dare charge that much for a seat cowl, think my original one for the 848 I had was only £60 from Ducati Coventry. How about the fitment of these Chinese ones? Is that at least ok?
