    Hi All
5 of us are planning to ride up from Suffolk to the peak district on the first weekend in June. Does anyone have any recommendations ?

    Cheers Chris

i used a site called Sykes cottages when I went up, they had tonnes of really good places to suit sizes and budgets etc.

Baslow is a nice place to stay. Lots of hotels and B & B although haven't
tried any of them ! Quite central tho. Loads of nice roads and pubs with great food, farm shops and ice cream places. Watch out for average speed cameras from Buxton to wildboarclough on A54 and also most of way into Macclesfield also the mobile speed van that tends to sit in lay-bys along this route. Bakewell and Matlock are a must if you need a brew in cheshire let me know xx

What we need is a network of forum members willing to let rooms to forum members at a predetermined price for the odd night. Now that's an interesting concept?

Great idea! ....tho I'd prob have to pay them to stay in our spare room by the time the dogs had jumped all over em & shredded their belongings lol
Think its a great concept tho, I'd certainly use it :)
