What's a cheap way to copy the key? (CBR1000RR 2004)

I've been to normal key shops. They can copy the key but can't help with the transponder part.

There are super cheap keys on eBay
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Moto...Honda-CBR600RR-CBR1000RR-CBR250R/122545303595

But I don't know if it has a transponder inside?

The manual describes a procedure to program the new key into the the ECU.
So it could conceivably work, I would buy this key on eBay, take it to a key shop for them to cut it.
Then I'd insert it into the bike and follow the procedure to add it.

    What do you think?

Only £39 to get it programmed by a dealer. That’s where I went for my spare.

    Yep
Take a picture of your key then they send it to your address where they can then use the picture they have and the address to come and nick your bike:confused:
