I have heard that they are now closed. It is a real shame because they have always been great with me. Granted I only bought two Bikes off them a VTRSP1 in 2001 and a 2009 Repsol Fireblade. I don’t know if they are relocating or the ins and outs of the closure. But I know one thing, dropping the Honda franchise (for whatever reason) left a massive void in the area IMHO.

Not surprised but still not good.

Bought my replacement 600F from there after I killed the previous one. Nice shop but opening hours always seemed a bit weird.

Yep. I don't normally pass the shop, but Google says they're permanently closed, plus their website is down.
No doubt it'll be student accommodation before the year's out.

Fortunately we have plenty of other bike shops.

Bugger was thinking of going for a test ride on a Kwak. Not good that we only have Suzuki left now.

Vertu Honda were on about opening a Motorcycle operation in Lincoln along with their car dealership but They went to Nottingham instead. Other Bike shop in Lincoln lost Kawasaki ages ago but Italia Motorcycles (next door) still has Ducati.

Stuish, I did not know that. All in all, The hunger for all this electronic rubbish has made bikes too expensive. £10-12K should be the ceiling price for a superbike.

I think the main mover of the increasingly expensive electronic bikes is PCP. I think that without the £99+ deals on stock they need to shift they would be struggling to maintain sales figures. A normal loan for a 16 to 20k bike would be a significant amount out of a normal family guys wage with other outgoings even with a good salary.
Then there's the maintenance costs of these bikes that unlike the analogs you can't just pop into your reliable little local mechanic if it's outside simple repairs etc. Perhaps more folks are waiting for the returned 3yr old PCP models on the market which again impacts on shops selling mainly new stock.
