Includes Lancaster taxi run at 8pm Hurricane Flypast at 8pm Spitfire Flypast at 8.15pm A few of us will be leaving Lincoln at around 5:30pm
Great night out, around 5,000 bikes turned up. No chance of getting any food though, the queues were a mile long Good opportunity to see how the Lancaster rebuild is going.
wish I could have gone to this,. but work is crazy right now, or I am just a work-a-holic, as my wife thinks is it me or do we seem to far less Ride outs/meets than we used to a few years ago?
I was thinking the same too as I've been putting in the overtime on weekends to help pay some of the debts I racked up when moving house and having some building work done. I came across some of the pictures a few days ago from Bala and Hunstanton. It seems ages ago, yet every year I seem to do more miles on the track bike and less on the road bike. We'll have to get round to sorting out a weekend ride out.
I remember we lost a few en route Olivers Mount too, oops Maybe a ride out to Croft when there's a track day on there are some decent roads that way and it's closer than Olivers Mount.
Check your diary for this Sunday 9th as I'm looking at putting a ride out together around the Pennines as I found a new (to me) road with amazing views on the way back from a job. I'll post details in a new thread when I've sorted the route.
