I wouldn't dare take my boy out on the blade but he is bike mad and really wants to come on the back with me so i was thinking of taking out on my 1955 BSA . Nice chilled out cruise , Lots of strait through pipe noise etc , he would love it and a lot more comfortable too.

He started on an lt50 quad and is now riding very well on his PW50 so he will hold me tight and be fine leaning with me.

Only problem is he is only 5 . Are there any laws to prevent me taking him? Any guide lines for age or requirements after a helmet ,boots, gloves and leather jacket ?

He has a motocross neck brace but i think that is a bit over the top for 30 mph cruising 40mph tops on long open straits .

    Any body know ?

Don't quote me on this mate, but AFAIK, legally, they just have to be able to reach the pillion pegs (and wear a helmet).
