Thought I'd post this so i can also keep track of the bits im doing to my bike.

So, my start point. 2004 bike, 827 genuine miles on the clocks, been sat in a garage for last 11 years.
Has some panel damage as something fell off his garage wall onto the side of it, so belly pan, mid panel and tail unit are all cracked and scuffed. its Cheaper to get a whole set from America than those 3 panels from Honda, even at trade price! So that'll be updated with pictures when they arrive.

First thing, a quick clean as it was covered in dust and crap.

Second; rip the crappy alarm out and straight into the bin.

Got my first couple tarty bits arrive as well, Evotech tail tidy and Arashi raceshift rearsets.

So, my Plans are, decent service, oil+filter, Air filters and plugs just due to age, also will be replacing Brake and clutch lines for Braided ones and a front caliper refresh with new seals and some Sbs Sinter pads

The tyres are like rock solid and will spin up in 5th in a straight line, so theyll be binned once its been set up on the dyno, more on that later, amd will be down gearing it with some nice talon sprockets.
Apart from that, i think thats all my funds will allow for this year. will do a few trackdays hopefully, and then get suspension done over next winter once ive saved for it and decided what ill be doing.

If this gets enough interest ill keep it updated regulary :)
    Thanks for reading!

It could be worth checking with your nearest Honda garage, 04 models were subject to a recall to change the speedo. More info here.

The stator is also a week point, but usually do last for 20k miles or more.

Sorry meant to be previous owner had it sat for 11 years!

If I'd had it for 11 Years, I'd have loved to be 10 with a fireblade ;)

brake master is the same ratio but have another conformation ;in nissin we called "centered",cbr got an "external"
as banjo thread is incl.on assial of 15° out. Those kawi units came with straight banjo position
that s mean master can be moved on handlebar
On clutch side , well is radial , so more feeling , not this orrible problem of a longggg lever anymore

    p.s. parts just arrived :D

Made a bit more progress today .
Fitted my lines and pads, also stripped calipers, cleaned up and new seals in.

Fitted Hrc reservoir to tidy back end up a bit .and a pressure brake switch as any aftermarket rearsets I plan to buy need them
    [IMG]

And had an intergrated led tail light arrive too, won't be fitting this till I sort new front indicators and new fairings have arrived :)
