    no not me;)
I am thinking about buying a new helmet as my agv k3 sv guy martin is getting a bit old and as I accelerate now the visor does touch my nose ( let the piss take begin;))
I was thinking of one of these and would like some thoughts

The xlite gloss carbon one is stunning in the flesh bazza. I've tried it on too and it's lovely. If I hadn't bought my xspirit I'd have gone for this...

I'd go for the X Lite lid. I had a Shark Spartan helmet and it was a descent lid however what let it down was there was no locking mechanism on the visor and had a tendancy to fly open at high speed when you tilted your head at certain angles.

Having spent the best part of a week reading helmet reviews - actually quite enjoyable - id say the xlite. Just picked up a 661. Either which way whatever you decide I’d say have a look on eBay - bought mine from a bike store at well over £70 cheaper than I could find elsewhere, still with warranty free return etc 763F5A0A-606F-436C-B8C6-454959F7E20C.jpeg

You're not really comparing apples with apples. The Spartan is more of a touring lid. I have one and like it but the way it sits on the head means the top of the visor opening impinges on the field of view when tucking in. The most important difference though is that it is a different shape to the x-lite. The Spartan fits like a glove and the x-lite is much too narrow.

Haven’t used the shark lids but own the xlite 803 carbon.
Great lid, well ventilated, a tittle loud but ok with plugs in and as you would imagine, very light

Well I have the Spartan as well - very comfy indeed but like you say limited view when tucked in. I recently got the x-spirit III and with it adjusted to race mode with the cheek pieces and neck pad able to be moved it gives full field of vision when tucked and when upright too. It is also very comfy with noise levels between the 2 being very similar :)

As my Mrs found out while on the way to Bristol on the A38 in the early hours a few years ago. she just turned sideway and up it flipped she was like a nodding dog briefly. You can adjust them apparently. but never have.

If you going carbon try the Bell Race Star Flex DLX, I've got the 2019 version, it has been updated for 2020, you now get the chromatic visor which is £150+, it's a bit lighter aswell

That must be the reason for the GT because it has a lockable visor

    X-lite has a lockable visor.
It’s the little black button on the visor pivot next the X:)

I use a sena s20 evo with my 803 and don’t have any problem with the speaker location.
There isn’t specific cut outs like in my rx7 but there’s a gap in the lining that fit the speakers perfectly.

    Buy this one !

Integrated antenna, pre-installed speakers and microphone ideally designed for the new communication system SC1.
