hi there, now i am not new to the biking world, had several blades, currant one is the 04 RR but never one with a quick shifter, my lad has a gixer with it fitted and sounds good, the questions I'm asking is, is it worth having? is it easy to fit? does it compromise the clutch in any way? and where's the best place to buy? many thanks Jase

Hi and welcome to the forum - no idea on the QS as I’ve never had or wanted one, but others will be able to advise. Post a picture of the bike

Put one on my ‘18 and now wouldn’t want to be without it. Great addition imo.

Quickshifters on bikes that wasn't designed for them isca bit of a lottery.
I lost that lottery on my blade and had to rebuild gearbox. No qs on it now haha

Hello and welcome, I have a Translogic is4 quick shifter on my 2014. A bit tricky to fit, it would probably have been easier to remove the fairings. Great bit of kit and works really well.

Translogic is the best bit of kit and not to bad to fit once the tank and airbox is off.

The only down side is how long 3rd gear will last as everyone I know who’s fitted one has had the problem, all be it after a fair few miles, for some reason mine never had the issue though.

some times it’s better not knowing as they are addictive, even more so with a bike that has a blipper so down shifts also.

Hello and welcome, I've read it somewhere that 04/07 gearboxs don't like quick shifters.
But you do what you want n don't listen to me :D
