It sounds chavy, it sounds childish, but boy is it fun!!!
My first ever session when my mate said make sure you bring your leathers I thought he was taking the piss. Little did I know we would be on track with Moto 2 rider Jake Dixon. The speed he was going absolutely blew my mind!!!!

    Does anyone else do it?

For me we've got M4 karting 45 minutes down the road, it's great fun between mates, cheap as chips and usually helps with the winter fix until the spring.

I'm currently in the middle of building a little RM85. I bought the bike as a complete sh£t box but it was running.

I've stripped it all down, replaced all the bearings, powder coated the frame and repainted the engine.

It's the first time I've ever stripped and re built a bike so a great learning curve to.

I've Changed all the suspension to suit my weight. I'm at the stage now where I'm trying to get the wheels to fit and it's hurting my head!

Any tips from any bike builders on getting the wheels to fit?

They go well, most people bore them out to 110cc. I can't wait to try it out. POWERRRR.

Take a look on YouTube at the CRF150's. They're crazy quick.

I've had a few go's and love it . not got one yet. chap at work races a crf150 used to have m2r 160 but crf better. the rm will be fun I'd run her a bit rich. guys think its a little 85 but it's a competition bike built for being flat out. at most kart tracks ect you won't be flat out that much. keep the pics coming ! wheel spacer wise get some plastic tube cut to right width then take to a machine shop with spindal and ask for spacers maybe. I did that when I super moto a kx 500 I had in the 90s.

The CRF is a rocket compared to most bikes and on the Karting tracks, you really need to be s**t hot to be able to tame them. The Chinese 140's & 160's are much easier to ride. Most that go with a smoker use a Husky, or KTM with the 110cc kit, but you're talking the best part of £4K.

    M2R is a cracker!!!

Thanks for the wheel spacer tip! hopefully a job for the next few weeks.

KX500 o_O absolute weapon of a machine, worth a few quid now to.

Awesome!!! You're hired ;) It'll be a few weeks yet. How much would something like that cost, and take to "knock up"?

Totally depends on what you want mate. I don’t charge much - if at all, normally just a beer :)
