Yes that's right. The cable is bike specific, but the speed healer is not, so any speedo healer V4 (SH-V4) will fit any bike as long as you have the right cable.Basically I had a 2005 Blade, but now I have a 2013 Blade. I kept the speedo healer, but changed the cable, so I have the old cable left over.
