I have been considering getting some black fork tubes for my bike.

Has anyone any experience of Paolo and Franco Tarozzi fork tubes ?

Several places sell them and claim they are up to OEM quality but of course I would prefer to hear from people with experience of them rather than an advert :)

    Thanks in advance.

    Why not get yours anodised?

I considered that option Colin, but the Tarozzi tubes have a Titanium Nitride finish which is supposed to be harder and also provides better stiction, plus, the bike would be off the road for a while whilst the anodising was being done. Getting anodising done around here is difficult.

so your not talking about the outer tubes, but the inner station? or the full thing fork?

I'd be suproised if you could get the inner station painted.

You can get the inner stanchion done had mine tin coated so did martin to look like ohlins. You can't have the stanchions anodised as not alloy. Firefox racing will overhaul you entire fork to look like ohlins which is what mine has
