Selling my Vauxhall Vivaro van as no longer required. Registered new on 02/07/2003 it now has 118,000 miles of which 4,000 have been covered by myself having bought it from a local electrician a little over 2 years ago. Initially I bought it for my career change to a domestic electrician but never really took off so went back to aircraft maintenance with the hindsight of using the van as a second car and as a fun van for mountain biking/canoeing/camping etc. but like all good intensions didn't happen hence the sale.

It's in great condition, very reliable with the sought after 5sp gearbox.

    Fully ply lined
    CD player (removable front)
Towbar with electrics (Fitted for my motorbike trailer)
Major service 4,000 miles ago inc all oils & filters, cambelt kit and water pump.
Rhino roof rack with rollers (2yrs old)
    2 new front tyres
    12 months MOT
    Tax declared SORN

Priced at £2750 , can be contacted on 07774011541

    Cheers
    Simon

I think it's the 90bhp one, and will get some more pics on today.

The pre 05 models with the 5sp boxes regularly went BANG due to them being sourced from the Renault Laguna with no up-rating for van use!

The 05+ models had beefier 6sp box's which coped better with lugging 2 Ton about regular.

.... It would seem it all depends on which forum you source your info, after my brother having 2 Renault Traffics 6sp both had much lower miles than mine and both suffered gearbox problems ! Which led me to do a bit of research which flagged up the problem with 6sp gearboxes but as you rightly say post 05 were better ones but the 5sp ones came up bullet proof hence my choice of van.

All I can say is that this one is solid and works as it should :)
