Just looking to get some insight into what your favourite UK tracks are and what makes them so great,

I have watched a few BSB races @ Cadwell and i must say this is a track i would put at the top of my list to have a go on.

I have only been on two tracks, Donnington & Croft, so looking to add a few more to that

Anglesey as it is 15 minutes from home, the surface is superb, it is challenging but flows nicely. Oulton is good too, but as Scooby says, difficult to get right, but when you do it is sweet.

Only ever been on 2 tracks, but Donny is great IMO.
Fast sweepers and lots of elevation changes, with plenty of knee down action (not that I can).

In order ( my favorites anyway )
1, Oulton Park, best by far and i live 6 miles away.
2, Cadwell, tight, twisty & fun.
3, Brands gp circuit, ( too far to go just for the indy !).
4, Donnington, FAST too fast for the old kwak !!
5, Angelsey, its got a mini cork screw (laguna seca !).

Snetterton 300 is my favourite track!! :D

It also happens to be the only track I've been to but that shouldn't take away from how awesome it is lol. No ups or downs but almost equal amount of slow and fast left and rights with a couple of real sweeping bends. It's got most corner types and really good fun. There are two straights where you can almost hit max speed depending on gearing.

Having done a few by far my favorite by miles is Anglesey.

beautiful views, challenging circuit, great camber on corners (Full circuit I did). And my first weekend trackday. killed my legs but so worth it

only downside is that it's 4 hours from me and 6 when in traffic :(

cadwell is mine as well, only track I've been on in the UK... out of all the tracks I've ridden on, Aragon would have to be the best, followed by Brno and then Spa...... sorry to jump to the european tracks, just thought I would make you jealous :D :D :D

    Done so far :

    Brands Indy
    Brands gp
    Snet 300
Donny - 1 lap and bike packed in :(
Oulton park - pissing down no wets :(

Have to say you can't beat brands gp, it's mega but big bucks and the new 4 group days are wank tbh...Donny looked amazing what I saw and think it could become a fav of mine.

Liked outorn but was tricky in pissing down rain and on racetechs so couldn't enjoy - def want to go back a few more times with the boys

Snet 300 is great, chicane on back straight, then bomb hole and big right hander are awesome.

Can't wait to race at Caldwell and give the mountain a bash.

Angelsee really looked good and am gutted its the race I'm going to miss :(

As for abroad, Laguna, portimao and spa would be my wish list.

Can't include the ring, that place is too special to call a track ;)

Only circuits I've done in the UK are Anglesey and Oulton Park!!
I come over on the ferry from Ireland so they are the only ones that are a reasonable driving distance from Holyhead.
Have to say Anglesey is my favourite as it's so wide and grippy plus it's got the best corner on any circuit which is church plus with it being out of the way the groups are never too busy.
Really liked Oulton but like was said it's really technical plus I had loads of hassle trying to get my R6 with an Akra system through noise testing!!

love outlon park....only been once on a bike, but it was a blast, pain in the rear to get the last half rite, hoping I can conquer it next time. Wondering if anyone could give feed back on the euro trackdays would love to do one at the backend of this year, something like almeria?

Andy, Anglesey is awesome. Great surface, no real noise testing, several different circuit layouts, some of the best views and great pit garages too. Well worth a visit.

Only done 2 tracks but thats subject to change this year!! Fcukin love cadders it has everything but oulton is great. Again like scooby says hard to get right and has bitten me in the arse a few times as you all know. Beyond my skill level atm but hopefully that will change too.
