Need a new clutch cover for my 2008 bike. Where is the best place to buy them from. Looking on ebay they are quite cheap from america but is there anywhere in the uk that is not stupidy overpriced ?

Unless yours is totally knackered I would just keep an eye in fleabay for some. I did that for my rr7 and now have both in pristine condition for less than £80.

I found they were like buses. None for ages and then a load appear at the same time.

What about Yorkshiregooner? He seems to be very reasonable on prices and is a member on this forum.

Last year when zipster threw his blade down the road on an icy commute, IIRC crash bungs fitted so the fairings were protected but the crankcase got battered.
I decided then that engine covers were priority over crash bungs, as fairings are much more obtainable and far less vital to the well being of the bike than a hole in the crankcase with the resultant loss of oil etc.
I know you said ^^^ that it's a bit late now, but maybe others reading this thread may be able to use the info and have a think about which crash protection the go for when buying their first bits and pieces... IMO..
