Yamaha Official World Superbike Team withdraws at the end of 2011 season from World Championship - Yamaha Racing dnt really see that coming, although its not done Ducati much harm this year I suppose.
suzuki have more or less pulled out, now yamaha and honda dont take it to seriously WSB is too geared towards ducati/aprillia IMO. i can understand why japan have become tired of it
Makes sense, must cost em a fortune to run the variety of official teams across the globe, picking up on Remal's point someone will pick it up and run it as a 'privateer' team setup...
i agree it shouldnt be factory teams anyway theyre meant to be bikes you or i could buy and race. the factory bikes are loads different to the privateer bikes which isnt right
Yamaha .State thats its all down to the recent bike sales 1st half of this year .Well hello the R1 has the worse back end of any of the top superbikes and they jacked the price up as well .Sort the exhaust out give it a make over ,reduce the price and bingo you have a top spec and quality bike ,and the sales world wide will follow.
