I am going to be replacing the front calipers and the rear master cylinder and so will naturally be putting new fluid in. Does anyone know how much I will need? I've checked the Haynes manual, the service manual, and searched on here but can't see how much I will need.

I'm thinking about using Motul RBF 660 as there will be an occasional trackday. Is this overkill?

When I changed my master cylinder and calipers I only used half a 500ml bottle of brake fluid

surprised it was that much.. but 1 bottle should get the entire system bled to an inch of its life :)

as Gilesy wrote, one 500ml bottle would be more that enough.

I probably pulled through more than was needed but wanted to be sure of no air! First time I'd done it as well

After servicing the calipers and putting on a RCS also had to bleed from dry I used less than 500ml too, lots left over

Cheers folks. Just ordered 500ml of Motul 660, and if lucky I may have enough to also flush the clutch at the same time.
