Just noticed the power link in the hall is not flashing green as per usual. The one upstairs is fine.
Consequently, I can't get on the internet in my normal fashion. Now on via Wi-Fi. (bt internet).
Am I correct in thinking the one down stairs is broken? I have had them about 4 years.
How can one test them? They are ZyXEL HD . Should I just purchase 2 more. The were about £40 so they don't owe me anything. Thanks. Which are the best one?

You could have a read of the manual, and try resetting and re-pairing them again. Do it on the same double socket so you can see what each one is doing, and to minimise the risk of one getting paired to one your neighbours might be using!

From memory, when you set them up they are paired with one as the Master and the other(s) as slaves.
If you accidentally switch off the "Master" one then they can all lose their connection.

Try switching them all off, switch on the master then switch the others on... they should reconnect again fine :)
