Overflow or no Overflow, that is the question...

    Just noticed this pipe hanging out the side of my bike (I know, my bike's filfthy) Before I take the tank and air box out to chase this hose pipe, can any members confirm what it is?

    its the breather for the petrol tank it tucks in where the other pipe goes

    Sorted...
    I couldn't check this last night as it was too dark.. Chased the hose in the light of day and it is indeed a breather pipe from the tank. It's connected to a white elbow type joiner that comes from the tank!

    I won't be cleaning that shift rod, based on the delivery I got this morning!

    I suggest you double check this
    If 2010 is the same as 2008, there are 2 long rubber overflow hoses in the area of your picture: coolant & fuel (if you overfill and spill).
    The breather tube is a short tail on the other side of the bike and not visible.
    The CBR has quite a complex fuel tank breather arrangement

    Thanks bonjo, I chased the hose, see my post update above. I got a good look when I installed the Quickshifter.
