Just noticed this pipe hanging out the side of my bike (I know, my bike's filfthy) Before I take the tank and air box out to chase this hose pipe, can any members confirm what it is?
    Thanks
    Chin

    Sorted...
I couldn't check this last night as it was too dark.. Chased the hose in the light of day and it is indeed a breather pipe from the tank. It's connected to a white elbow type joiner that comes from the tank!
Thanks @dave the rave for the heads up!

I suggest you double check this
If 2010 is the same as 2008, there are 2 long rubber overflow hoses in the area of your picture: coolant & fuel (if you overfill and spill).
The breather tube is a short tail on the other side of the bike and not visible.
The CBR has quite a complex fuel tank breather arrangement

Thanks bonjo, I chased the hose, see my post update above. I got a good look when I installed the Quickshifter.
    Thanks
